Ahana will not act: Dharmendra

Recently there was news that Hema Malini has decided to produce Aparna Sen’s next project, an adaptation of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”, which will have Ahana playing the lead alongside Prateik. When we spoke to Dharmendra about this development, he denied the news as mere speculation.
“Ahana won’t act in movies. I don’t know from where such stories are cropping up. My daughter is very young, but she has a clear head.And she is very clear about not acting in movies. Why is everyone so hell bent on making her debut in films,” asked an agitated Dharmendra. When asked to comment on the fact that Hema herself is preparing to launch Ahana’s acting career, Dharam paaji said, “I don’t think so. This is just plain hearsay. Nothing like this is happening. And if she is planning something like that, then I have no idea about it. But as far as I am concerned, Ahana won’t act in the movies,” said Dharmendra.
Meanwhile, the Deols are all set to produce and start their own reality show that will showcase talent in sports from all across India. Confirming the news, Dharmendra said, “We are thinking of launching our own show to encourage sports and sportsmen in our country. There is so much talent in our country, but there is no platform to encourage that talent or bring it forward. Our show will be on the lines of “India’s Got Talent” and will have sports people coming in from various parts of the country to showcase their talent. Talks are on with channels on the format of the show.” If sources are to be believed, Zee TV is in talks with the Deols to start a boxing reality show, where boxers from all across India will fight it out for the top slot. Dharmendra and Sunny will be the judges.
